We adopted "Buzz" in January of 2011. We orginally drove down to Sioux City(which is a four hour one way trip for us from Minnesota) to look at another dog we saw online.

Just want to give you an update on Bubbles here she is in her new bed, after being groomed. She is doing wonderful!!! You can see my other Shiz tsu behind her sleeping in her bed.

On December 26, 2008 I adopted Kailey from the Humane Society. I had recently lost a wonderful 9 year old dog, Ricki, to a heart attack.(She also came from the shelter).

My name is Blackie and I adopted my new family on 12/29/2004. I was a little afraid at first what with all the changes I had to make in my new life with my new family.

I just wanted to drop a little note to let you know how we are doing. I adopted a kitten named JJ last May.

We adopted a puppy a month ago. Dagwood was a cocker mix puppy . Our little 3 year old granddaughter Jazzy has came to stay with us for 10 months while her mommy goes on a deployment out to sea.

Cocoa and I met eye to eye and the girls gave me her leash. She stood as close as she could get to me and it as as though she said "you're mine, I am going home with you." She is a very loving and active "punkin" and we have wonderful days together.

We adopted Max(Fiesty) on March 17th and we are doing well.

I am writing to update you guys on a Lab Mix I adopted from there couple weeks ago. He was the last male in the Tic,Tac,Toe Pups you guys got in. I adopted Toe, his new name is Ludo he loves his new home and his family and we love him very much he gets long walks lots of love and attention. He loves shopping in Petsmart we take him there every weekend he picks out his own toy.

We changed riley's name to Denali. He is a wonderful dog he and our other dog Smooch love to play together and they love to get in the pool.My daughter loves him too and sometimes he sleeps on her bed He mostly like hanging with our other dogs Thanks again!

This is our dog Sisco, we adopted her a year ago in March '09. She is 5 now and as you can see she loves "her boys." This is Jerod our 2 year-old who is starting to throw a ball- he and Sis were having a great time this day "fetching." Jerod has a twin brother Josh & big brother Isaac is 3.

In 2004 we purchased our first house,so we decided to get our first dog. We came to The Siouxland Humane Society and found Alex.

In 2008 we got Vada, our third dog. She is our little black and white wonder. She pranced right into this family and stole our hearts.

Sky is a wonderful dog and is loved very much. Thanks again for bringing her into our lives.

My roommate and I adopted a cat in April from Siouxland Humane Society. Sassy is a very vocal a loving kitty! We love her so much, she's one of the girls at our apartment.

I adopted Duke from the Siouxland Humane Society two weeks ago, and he's such a great dog. I was really amazed at how good natured he is, and I consider myself really lucky to be the one to take him home.

We adopted Jeb in May and he is a great dog!!! He fits right in with the other dogs, cats and horses.

On 9/19/2008 we had to put our 11year old husky to sleep. December 31, 2008 we decided to to get another dog and we went to the humane society.

This is our beloved Jasper who we got from the animal shelter 7/24/05. He was born 12/20/1996. He was a miniature Shelti.

Tabitha was 2 1/2 years old when we adopted Shelby, age 1, from you. Tabitha is now 10 1/2, and Trevor is 6 1/2.

Daisy - adopted 8-11-09. Even though it's only been 2 weeks, Daisy is really adjusting well. She is a great cat.

Dodge has been a model of good behavior. He is tolerant of our two kitties, eating well, observing (most of) the rules of the house, getting LOADS of exercise (good for us, too) and really proving to be the perfect pup for our family.

We adopted Ali about 7 years ago. Sadly, we just lost him to renal cancer. We miss him so much. He is in the back yard with our Dalmatian.

We adopted our dog Buddy in Sept. of 2008 from a Humane Society pet drive that was being held at the Petsmart in Lakeport commons.

He is wonderful with our 19 month old daughter Brooklynn (as seen in one of the photos), she loves him so much and he loves her hugs and kisses! He also has become great friends with our 5 year old toy poodle Henry.
