MAGGIE MAE
|
At the end of June, I lost my Keesha dog. She was the ruler of the farm place and the dictator of all who lived there. I decided I needed someone to help ease the hurt in my heart so I started searching for someone. She had to be short, good natured, not a puppy, good with kids and well mannered. That seemed like a pretty tall order and one would think impossible to fill. Finally the end of July took me to the humane society and there was "Puppa". She had been there less than an hour and she was exactly what I was looking for. Don't tell me it wasn't meant to be! She goes camping with us and wherever the road might take us. She is now the ruler of the farm and she makes her rounds to check on things. She has integrated with my other dog just wonderfully and the cats too. At first I was nervous that a city dog would have a tough time turning into a country dog. Not one problem have we had. She respects the equipment and she is so smart and catches on so quickly. We have renamed "Puppa" and we now call her "Maggie Mae". She has several boys (nephews) that love to hug on her so that she is never short on attention. I'm sorry for the family that had to give her up, but I'm really, really happy she is now living with us. Thank you!
