My name is Blackie and I adopted my new family on 12/29/2004. I was a little afraid at first what with all the changes I had to make in my new life with my new family. They had a real nice place for me to stay with lots of land for me to run in.

The people at the Siouxland Human Society were very kind to me while I was there and seem to do everything they could to make me feel comfortable but I was also so happy to become a great part of my new family. (They Love me you know.)
They let me sleep inside with them and do not seem to mind all the hair I leave behind.
I also have a new friend who lives next door to me her name is Rebel. She is a English Springer and she also adopted a family at the Siouxland Human Society she is sure a lot of fun and we play all day until we go into our home at night were we eat and enjoy our newly adopted families. That is her standing beside me with one of my family members Richard.
