This is our dog Sisco, we adopted her a year ago in March '09. She is 5 now and as you can see she loves "her boys." This is Jerod our 2 year-old who is starting to throw a ball- he and Sis were having a great time this day "fetching." Jerod has a twin brother Josh & big brother Isaac is 3. When we adopted Sis she had been returned to the shelter once or twice for being somewhat territorial and an extreme fear of men. Our first week or two home with her were interesting with my husband, but she was so good with the kids & our cats & our other small dog; we knew we had to give her a chance or she might suffer a terrible fate if we had to return her again. I will say she is a good watch-dog and is a little shy around men she doesn't know, but she is a wonderful dog and we're so glad we gave her a chance to live here. We live on an acreage and I think all she needed was a chance to run some and to not be tied up/chained all the time.
