Dear Siouxland Humane Society,

We adopted Sassy, a beautiful springer spaniel, on July 1 of this year, and she has made a wonderful addition to our family! Please send our thanks to the wonderful people who made her available to you so this pet adoption could take place. Sassy obviously has been well trained and cared for since she is so well behaved and loving in our house. We have been impressed with her previous level of obedience training as well.

It was our understanding that in her previous home there was not enough outside area for Sassy to exercise properly. We live on the edge of a small town in southern Iowa where there is plenty of room for her to run and even chase small animals such as rabbits, wild turkeys and even some deer (she never actually catches anything, but she delights in trying.) We often take her for walks around the street and in the grassy areas near where we live. She runs around us as we walk, so she gets considerably more exercise than we do but we all return home equally tired.

To the previous owners, in case you were worried, dont be. Sassy is doing fine and we are very pleased to have her. Thank you.
