We adopted "Buddy" our German Shorthair, in March of this year. When my husband went to he shelter, he knew right away that Buddy was a dog for us. Right from the start, our kids wanted to play with him and be around him. He was supposed to be an outside dog on our acerage, however, he quickly warmed our hearts and is with us all the time. He is an intelligent dog and seems to love his family. He loves to play with our kids and sometimes thinks he is a lap dog! He points like a pro and is learning manners and simple commands. He is so happy when he runs our tree line and sits under the shade trees waiting for another bird to fly by! Is it possible to see a dog smile? We think so. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. We have been very pleased with our dog and the folks at the Humane Society.
