Ozzy

Hi, my name is Ozzy and I was adopted from the Siouxland Humane Society in September of 2000. An animal control officer brought me in as a stray. I had tags on my collar but when the Humane Society contacted my owners, they never came to get me. A lady who works at the shelter took very good care of me and on the day I came up for adoption, she asked if I wanted to come home with her. So, just like the song, “Momma, I’m Coming Home” by Ozzy Osbourne……I was named. I am now referred to as her “million dollar dog” because, she said even if she was offered a million dollars, she would never let me go. I now share my home with two cats. For some reason, one of them has become my best friend. His name is Simus and he also came from the Humane Society four years ago. My owner says that if you looked in a book for the perfect dog, my picture would be there. I think she’s pretty sweet on me. On some weekends, I can be found behind the counter at the Humane Society making sure things run smoothlyand letting customers know there are many other dogs just like me waiting to be a “million dollar dog”!
