New Volunteer Orientation

Every wagging tail, happy purr, and second chance begins with someone who cares. Volunteers are the heart of our shelter, giving their time, compassion, and love to animals who are waiting for a family to call their own.

A volunteer’s impact goes far beyond walking a dog or cuddling a cat. They help scared animals build trust, provide comfort to those who are lonely, and give energetic pets the exercise and enrichment they need to thrive. Every gentle pat, kind word, and game of fetch helps prepare an animal for life in a forever home.

This orientation is for our In-Shelter Animal Care such as walking dogs, socialization of cats or bathing and grooming animals. Once you sign up to become a volunteer you can login to the Volunteer Information Center to sign up for the volunteer orientation. Limited space available so sign up today!
