SUMMARY:Siouxland Big Give
DESCRIPTION:Siouxland Big Give is a time to give to your favorite charities and we hope we are the ONE! This event matches supporter passion with non-profits\, like the Siouxland Humane Society! Siouxland Big Give runs midnight to midnight Tuesday\, October 4\, 2022\, but you can pre-give NOW! You can donate and it won’t be processed until October 4th! \nOur Siouxland Big Give project is Our Pet Retention Program. Keeping families & pets together.\nNow is when your donation can make a difference. \nWith the world full of uncertainties\, the one thing the Siouxland Humane Society knows and understands is how important that bond is with people and their pets. We want pet owners to know we are here to help and they do have a choice. When unforeseen circumstances arise sometimes it leaves a pet owner thinking they have nowhere to turn\, and no other choice but to surrender their beloved pet to a shelter. Too often pets are surrendered due to finances. A family member may have lost their job. Health issues may have occurred or just not being able to afford pet food during a difficult time. Our project will provide resources to help. \nWe believe the best home for any pet is the home of someone who already loves them. Helping pet owners become aware of all the resources available to help them keep their beloved pet is something we believe is very vital not only for the pet but also for the owner. Our pets are more than pets they are family!\nThe goal of this project is simple: to save the lives of pets by keeping them out of shelters\, and with the families that love them. We achieve this through:\nVeterinary Care and Assistance – Unexpected emergency medical assistance. \nPet Food & Supply Bank – Giving some help when finances are tight.\nSpay/Neuter Assistance – Helping with the cost of getting a pet fixed.\nBehavioral Assistance and /or Training – Obedience training makes for a better family member.\nTemporary Housing for pets – When people are temporarily displaced\, short-term housing for pets. \nWe want to help keep people and pets in Siouxland together! Please help us help them\, be the hero so many needs and donate today. Just click on the link below.\nhttps://siouxlandbiggive.org/Organization-Profile/Siouxland-Humane-Society
