DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family\, humans and pets alike\, for a festive photo to celebrate the 2019 holiday season!  You don’t have to own a pet\, or even bring them to participate – holiday photos of any kind are welcome. All proceeds from this event will go directly to help the animals in our care at the Siouxland Humane Society. \nSanta will be there to take photos with you as well – or if Santa isn’t your favorite holiday celebrity\, we can politely tell him to take a break for some milk and cookies during your photo time. (He can’t turn that down\, right?)  But if Santa is your thing\, feel free to bring a letter for him to take to the North Pole! \nPaws N Claus is going back to just one week this year from Wednesday\, November 20th through Sunday\, November 24th.  Appointments can be scheduled online by clicking HERE or by calling the shelter at 712-252-2614\, ext. 0. This year we will be at 823 Gordon Drive in the Woodbury Center strip mall by I-Hop.   \nProfessional photographers will take pictures against a beautiful winter backdrop that are perfect for cards\, gifts or a lifetime memory of those you love.  Better yet\, when you are finished with your session you will receive a memory card with your pictures on it so you can make copies as you wish!  You will get all photos taken so you can laugh at the bloopers\, aww over the great ones and share with whomever you choose!   Price is still just $35 for one session or $60 for two! DESCRIPTION:Our next raffle is huge! The estate of Pamela Lowe donated her handmade dollhouse with antique furniture and dolls.  Pamela was a huge animal lover and her family wanted this to go to a good cause.  We are so grateful that we were chosen and decided the dollhouse would be this year’s Paws N Claus Raffle!  The raffle begins Friday\, November 1st and runs thru Friday the 29th with the winner being announced on Monday\, December 2nd.  Tickets can be purchased online by clicking here\, at the shelter\, over the phone at (712) 252-2614\, ext. 0 or at the Paws N Claus event.  Raffle tickets are $5 each or 3 tickets for $10.00.\nThe gorgeous handmade dollhouse is 34Wx20Dx32H and has 25 antique furniture pieces\, 9 dolls and a dozen small accent pieces.  What a great piece to treasure or give as a gift!

Paws N Claus is a unique opportunity to take pictures with your pets\, Santa and/or just of your family and help raise funds for the Shelter! With a new winter scene\, you are sure to catch the perfect pose with or without your pet! \nPaws N Claus will be held on two consecutive weekends\, Friday\, November 2nd through Sunday\, November 4th\, and we added Thursday evening\, Thursday\, November 8th and then Friday\, November 9th through Sunday\, November 11th. Our NEW location will be in the Floyd Hills Center by Taco Bell and Chinese Chef at 3075 Floyd Blvd. \nWe invite you to bring your family\, your pets\, and anyone else you want to include in these one of a kind photos. Professional photographers will take pictures against a beautiful winter themed backdrop that are perfect for cards\, gifts or just a lifetime memory of those you love. \nFor just $35.00\, you receive three printed photos with a digital CD copy of the photos for you to use however you like\, better yet\, purchase 2 sittings for $60 and get 6 printed photos and the CD copy. SUMMARY:Pets on Parade 5K/1mile Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 16th Annual pledged 5k run or 1 mile walk with or without a pet. After the walk/run\, we have vendor booths\, music\, pet contests\, food and a large silent auction. Our entertainment this year will be Cindy Downing\, Animal Medium from Omaha\, NE. Cindy will give us a brief description of what she does and a reading or two! You can participate and collect pledges as an individual or has a team (Dog Pack). Participants earn prizes based upon how much money is raised and those forming and participating as a Dog Pack will receive an extra surprise gift! Each participant raising at least $30.00 will get a t-shirt (see picture for logo and colors) and a goody bag. The goody bag will have discount coupons and items from local businesses. Best of all\, you don’t have to wait\, you can start collecting pledges now! Recruit your friends\, family and/or co-workers to join your team\, participants do not have to walk or run if they choose not to. Interested in being a vendor?
