DESCRIPTION:Join us for our 16th Annual pledged 5k run or 1 mile walk with or without a pet. After the walk/run\, we have vendor booths\, music\, pet contests\, food and a large silent auction. Our entertainment this year will be Cindy Downing\, Animal Medium from Omaha\, NE. Cindy will give us a brief description of what she does and a reading or two! You can participate and collect pledges as an individual or has a team (Dog Pack). Participants earn prizes based upon how much money is raised and those forming and participating as a Dog Pack will receive an extra surprise gift! Each participant raising at least $30.00 will get a t-shirt (see picture for logo and colors) and a goody bag. The goody bag will have discount coupons and items from local businesses. DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wandered what your animal would say if they talk? Well you might just find out! Join us on Saturday\, April 28th from 1pm to 3pm and get a possible reading of your pet by Animal Communicator/Medium\, Cindy Downing!\nCindy Downing is an Animal Communicator and Medium. This means she is to communicate with animals both here on Earth and on the other side. Through listening and interpreting pictures\, animal thoughts\, feelings\, and sensations\, she can create a bridge between you and your animals that are alive and who are in spirit. \nWhat is an Animal Communicator?\nAnimal communication is the transfer of information from one or more animals (sender or senders) to one or more humans (receiver or receivers)\, which may affect either the current or future behavior of the sender. It is a form of telepathic communication.\nAn animal communicator is one who understands and translates thoughts\, feelings and sensations of an animal. An animal communicator can help you with behavioral problems and find the root causes of the animals behavior.\nAnimals can send visual images\, feelings\, thoughts\, ideas and sensations as communication. Sometimes these communications have words; sometimes they are just accompanied by a strong sense of how they fit together to form the communication.\nWhen I am communicating with animals\, I am having a conversation with them. I treat the animals with respect when they are communicating with me. Animals usually communicate about what is happening or has happened to them and about fears and concerns. \nWe have 2 types of tickets available for purchase on a 1st Come 1st Serve basis. We have 15 tickets available that has VIP seating and you can bring your animal along with you. Those tickets are $40 each and do NOT guarantee a reading during the event. We have 85 tickets available where you would bring a picture of your animal alive or deceased that shows the animal’s eyes clearly. It can be a printed picture or one on your cell phone. Think about any questions\, concerns or issues that you may want to address with your animal in the event that you are selected for a reading! These tickets are $25 each and general admission seating. \nA cash bar will be available and must be 21 years or older to participate in this event. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a night of fun at the Sioux City Musketeer Hockey Game on St. Patty day! Sign up for the lap dog races that will occur during the 1st intermission. Dogs must be under 25lbs to register. Picture above is the t-shirt design for 2018. You can purchase a t-shirt for $10 or $12 for 2 and 3X sizes. You don’t have to participate in the Lap Dog Races to order one! We are now selling Flex Tickets that can be used for any regular season HOME game. They are $14 each and the shelter gets to keep $6 of every ticket sold! SUMMARY:Operation Helpful Smiles
DESCRIPTION:The shelter will be the recipient of the Operation Helpful Smile program at all Sioux City and South Sioux City Hy-Vee Food Stores and Gas Stations on February 12th through February 25th. Operation Helpful Smile is a donation jar at each register and we receive all of the money donated through this time period. Hy-Vee then donates an additional $1\,000!
