DESCRIPTION:Peter Cottontail is just around the bunny trail and it’s time for you to grab an Easter Basket or two for your furry friends! Each basket is filled with a different variety of fun toys\, treats\, and goodies- making it the perfect way to spoil your pet while supporting the shelter. Cat and dog baskets are $35\, while this year we are offering the option to upgrade to DELUXE cat and dog baskets for $50. \nAlso back by popular demand\, we are including the option to Sponsor a Shelter Pet! If your well-loved pets have too many toys at home\, but you still want to support the shelter\, consider donating a basket to send home with a pet who gets adopted. From now until Easter\, every shelter pet who finds a forever home could leave with a special basket\, making their transition easier and filled with fun. With nearly 150 pets surrendered to us each month\, there are so many pets who could use these baskets to kick off their new life with their forever families. \nOnce you purchase your basket\, email maddy@siouxlandhumanesociety.org to let her know your pet’s name/ names for your basket! \nClick here to purchase! \nExamples of Dog and Cat Baskets and Dog and Cat DELUXE Baskets pictured below. DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Wizard of Paws Virtual Auction is here!  Somewhere over the rainbow is a magical online event supporting the shelter and the animals who are still waiting for their happily ever. Because after all\, there’s no place like a forever home. \nHelping and supporting the shelter is as easy as bidding on hundreds of unique and exciting items\, with new treasures added daily. From local experiences and gift baskets to handcrafted goods and pet essentials\, there’s something for everyone. It’s the perfect chance to treat yourself while making a real difference for animals in need. \nThe Siouxland Humane Society receives no city\, state\, or federal dollars. We also receive no United Way funds or any financial support from national animal welfare organizations. We rely on things like this auction to make certain that we can continue helping the pets and the community that we love! \nWe rehome 100% of adoptable pets and ensure that while in our care they are happy\, healthy\, and well-loved before finding their new families.  Proceeds also provide pet retention services to the community helping keep families together. So many of our programs that provide vet care or food to owners in need in our community are funded by fundraising events like this one. Every dollar raised helps provide food\, medical care\, shelter\, and second chances for homeless pets. \nPre-registration required at JSB East (901 5th St) before the event. Plus\, if you’re looking to expand your family\, pets will be available for adoption\, offering a chance to give a loving home to a furry friend in need. Don’t have a pet? That’s ok\, you are still welcome! \nPets on Parade is an important event for the Siouxland Humane Society as it raises funds for all the amazing things we do here at the shelter! You can raise money alone\, or you can get a group together and raise together as a “Dog Pack” We have some awesome prizes to give away for the people putting their best foot forward and raising money for us. Every person who raises over $300 will be entered into a raffle to win a big prize!
