You can donate and it won’t be processed until October 6th! \nThe Siouxland Humane Society is proud to participate. We are the only non-profit open admission full-service shelter in Siouxland dedicated to animal welfare\, and we provide dozens of programs and services to help the people and pets in the community. This year we are focused on our Emergency Pet Vetting. \nOne thing we have noticed this year is the increase of pets coming into the shelter needing emergency vetting for one reason or another. Rather it is surgery for stones\, intestinal blockage\, dental work\, placing a pet on a special diet/food or insulin for a diabetic cat/dog in need. The unexpected costs add up quickly and can be quite deterring on any non-profit budget. \nWe do rely on our Fundraising efforts to help with the many needs of our shelter. This year has been quite trying and challenging as some of our events have been canceled due to Covid\, and that is why we and the critters need your help more than ever! DESCRIPTION:2021 Pet License Fees\nNeutered or Spayed Dog: $15 per pet\nNon Neutered or Non Spayed Dog: $50 per pet\nNeutered or Spayed Cat: $15 per pet\nNon Neutered or Non Spayed Cat: $31 per pet\nA late penalty of $15 per license will be added to the original fee when a license is renewed after March 1st\, an additional $20 after April 1st\, and an additional $25 after May 1st.\nPet owners may begin renewing their pet licenses beginning December 1st at the Customer Service Center\, 405 6th Street; Sioux City Animal Adoption & Rescue\, 2400 Hawkeye Drive; or participating veterinarians. All pet licenses are valid for one (1) year and expire on December 31st of the license year. Pet owners must provide proof of current rabies vaccination before the license will be issued. As of now\, we have limited quantities available and may increase our production based on demand.  This is something new we are trying and we want to see how sales go before purchasing more supplies.  We can’t thank you enough for your continued support!
