At the Siouxland Humane Society, we understand how hard it is to say farewell to a beloved pet. We also know how important it is to celebrate the life of your pet in a way that is meaningful to you. Therefore, we offer a number of ways for you to say your final goodbye and remember your pet for years to come. All of our pet cremation services are provided with dignity and respect at an affordable cost. Arrangements have been made with local veterinarians to pick up your pet at no additional cost or you may bring your pet to the Shelter. We will then call you as soon as your pet’s cremains are ready for you to pick up. Our turnaround can average one to two days.
PRIVATE CREMATION
When you choose private cremation, your beloved pet will be the only pet in the cremation chamber during the cremation process. When the cremation process is complete, we ensure that you receive only the cremated remains of your pet.
Your pet’s cremains are returned to you in an attractive urn, along with a certificate of cremation and a ready to frame copy of the Rainbow Bridge Pet Poem.
SEMI-PRIVATE CREMATION
Our Semi-Private cremation is a procedure during which more than one pet’s body is present in the cremation chamber with each pet being separate from one another.
Your pet’s cremains are returned to you in an attractive urn, along with a certificate of cremation and a ready to frame copy of the Rainbow Bridge Pet Poem.
COMMUNAL CREMATION (NO ASHES RETURNED)
Keeping the memory of your pet close to your heart, a communal cremation offers a dignified and less expensive option. With communal cremation, your pet is gently placed into the crematory together with other pets. Once the cremation is complete your pets remains are scattered on a peaceful tree lined hillside in the country.
