Every dollar that you donate to the Siouxland Humane Society makes a difference in the life of a homeless pet. Your support helps us care for the thousands of animals we get each year. Help us transform the life of a pet from homeless to happy! Your donation will help shelter, feed and provide medical care for animals in need, prevent cruelty and educate the public on the humane treatment of animals. There are many ways to give to the Siouxland Humane Society.
MONTHLY GIVING
Every year thousands of animals come through the door and hundreds need a significant investment of time and medical care. Our loyal monthly donors are crucial to helping us meet their needs. The steady stream of income provided by monthly donors enables us to care for animals that might otherwise not get a second chance. Won’t you consider being a monthly donor? Thank you for caring!
YOUR DONATION
The Siouxland Humane Society is a 501c3 nonprofit organization (Federal ID #42-6000336) that depends on the generosity of individuals and businesses to care for the thousands of pets we take in each year. The SHS receives no city, state or federal dollars, no United Way funds or financial support from national humane organizations.

Here are a few ways your donation works for the animals:
- Initial preventative vaccinations and deworming for incoming animals
- Complete care for animals until adoption
- Veterinary care for sick or injured animals
- Spay or neuter of animals
- Humane education programs for schools
- Cruelty/Neglect Investigations
Donations of $30 or more include a complimentary 1-year subscription to the SHS’s quarterly newsletter, Pawprints.
