Improving Iowa’s Animal Cruelty Laws- Sioux City Town Hall

Iowa’s animal cruelty laws define what constitutes animal cruelty and the available penalties. Too often people feel that the penalties actually applied in cases don’t “fit the crime”. In this session, the Animal Rescue League’s Animal Care and Control Supervisor and Animal Welfare Intervention Coordinator, will explain the current situation, what work the ARL has been doing to improve Iowa’s animal cruelty laws, where we are headed next, and how you can help!
