Pets On Parade 2024

Join us for the 22nd annual Pets on Parade event on September 14th at Riverside Park! The day will be packed full of fun for pet enthusiasts and their four-legged pals. The festivities will kick off with a pledged walk at 10 A.M. at Riverside Park on Saturday September 14th! You can come with or without a pet! Everyone is welcome!
Pets on Parade is an important event for the Siouxland Humane Society as it raises funds for all the amazing things we do here at the shelter! You can raise money alone, or you can get a group together and raise together as a “Dog Pack” We have some awesome prizes to give away for the people putting their best foot forward and raising money for us! Every person who raises over $300 will be entered into a raffle to win a big prize! After the walk, stick around for food trucks, pet contests, demonstrations, entertainment, a kids and pet zone and vendor booths! For those who stay until the end of the event we will have a special raffle that you must be present to win!
Event registration is available at runsignup.com, which is an easy way for you to secure your spot and start raising money! Or contact Maddy to get a fundraising packet to start getting cash and check donations. Remember, rain or shine, the show must go on! Pets on Parade has so much fun to offer for everyone. Bring family, friends and most importantly your pets! Don’t worry, you can still come if you don’t have a furry friend. We will also have pets available for adoption! Let’s all come together and show the support for the homeless pets we care for everyday!
