Pets on Parade 5K/1mile Run/Walk

Join us for our 16th Annual pledged 5k run or 1 mile walk with or without a pet. After the walk/run, we have vendor booths, music, pet contests, food and a large silent auction. Our entertainment this year will be Cindy Downing, Animal Medium from Omaha, NE. Cindy will give us a brief description of what she does and a reading or two! You can participate and collect pledges as an individual or has a team (Dog Pack). Participants earn prizes based upon how much money is raised and those forming and participating as a Dog Pack will receive an extra surprise gift! Each participant raising at least $30.00 will get a t-shirt (see picture for logo and colors) and a goody bag. The goody bag will have discount coupons and items from local businesses. Best of all, you don’t have to wait, you can start collecting pledges now! Recruit your friends, family and/or co-workers to join your team, participants do not have to walk or run if they choose not to. Interested in being a vendor? We will also be raffling off this adorable chainsaw carving donated by Bear Grove Chainsaw Carvings It is 2 feet tall and retails for $300.00. You can purchase raffle tickets at the shelter, at the event or online by clicking here. The drawing will be held at Pets on Parade at 12:30pm.
