Join the Iowa State Director for the Humane Society of the United States and local animal advocates for a community town hall.
Learn how to be a part of the change here in Iowa… not just a bystander! This is your chance to learn how to effectively advocate for the animals in our state and “Turn Your Compassion Into Action.”
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a separate organizations unrelated to the Siouxland Humane Society (SHS). The SHS is not an umbrella organization of any national animal welfare organization nor are we governed, ruled or regulated by them. We have a local Board of Directors and governed by our own articles of incorporation, bylaws, mission statement, philosophy and programs and services. We are an independent private 501c3 non-profit organization.
