October is Adopt A Shelter Dog Month. The Siouxland Humane Society joins this celebration to bring attention to the wonderful dogs and puppies available for adoption at our Shelter. Celebrated every October, the tradition promotes dog adoptions from shelters and provides an opportunity to teach the public how to care for their pets responsibly. Improve your life with a dog’s companionship and support these voiceless creatures. We need new homes for the dogs and puppies at our Shelter! Stop, shop, adopt!
